Mothers the world over are shaking their hands and smacking their foreheads at the audacity, nay, stupidity of a New Zealand mother who left her baby in a car with a note and a phone number while she shopped for groceries.
“It was written from the baby’s perspective, and it said, ‘My mum’s in doing the shopping, call her if I need anything’, and it had the cellphone number,” said a bystander.
A couple eventually called the mom to come collect her child, but there appeared to be no harm. The bystander who wished to remain anonymous said the child appeared to be in good health and well cared for.
